He was predeceased by: his father James Johnson; his brother James Johnson; and his son Adam Hawkins. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Coker Daughtery of Sterling, VA; his wife Kim (Virginia); his daughter Chelsea Johnson (Cody) of Stephens City, VA; his stepchildren, Ericka Nicholson (Todd) of Winchester, VA, Michael Van Zandt (Nicole) of Stephens City, VA, Allyson Cox (Bernd) of Loganville, GA and James Van Zandt (Kayla) of Chickamauga, GA; and his siblings, Michael Johnson (Katie) of Star Tannery, VA, Samuel Daugherty of Sterling Park, VA and Jennifer Daugherty. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
