She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Wiley Moran and Vivian Henley Moran; her husband John Ralph Gipson of Akron; and her sister Willie Faye Garner. She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Gipson of Berryville, VA; her grandsons, Christopher Clawson of Long Beach, CA and Jonathan Clawson of Leesburg, VA; and her sister Mary Ruby Scanlon.
