She is survived by: her husband Ellis Leroy Chapman; her children, William Franklyn Chapman (Lynn) of Lynchburg, VA, Lee Robert Chapman (Lindsay) of Houston, TX, Carl M. Chapman (Katie) of Houston, TX, Ellis Leroy "Chappie" Chapman, Jr. (Mariana) of Corpus Christi, TX and Kaylynn Amanda Chapman-Browne; her grandchildren, Betsy, Will, Molly, Nick, Ella, Wesley, Xan and Teddy; and her siblings, Frank B Herty III, Mary Hartshorn and Diane Hall.
