He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Bohon of Hamilton, VA and Merle D. Betts II (Cheryl) of Inwood, WV; his grandchildren, Merle D. Betts III (Marjorie) of Inwood, WV, Megan Betts (Nelson Sierra) of Charlestown, WV, Adam Bohon of Hamilton, VA and Zachary Bohon (Heather) of Ashburn, VA; and his great grandchildren, Emma Louise Rose Betts, Merle D. Betts IV and Alfred Wayne Bohon.
