He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Milton Pennington, Jr. and Bettie Anne Wine Pennington; his brother-in-law Thomas V. Williams, Jr.; and his niece Mary Beth Williams. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Tish" Patterson Pennington; his son Ross Pennington (Angela Pennington) of Locust Grove, VA; his pet Rosie; and his siblings, Bonnie Williams of Warrenton, VA, John Pennington (Penny) of Warrenton, VA, Edward Pennington (Laura) of Washington, D. C. and Mark Pennington of Warrenton, VA.. He is also survived by many close friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
