He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Ross Branch; his parents, Wilbur Homer Branch and Katherine Louise Branch; and his siblings, Roger Branch, Frank Branch and Velma Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Roxane St and Paul Branch of Big Island, VA; his grandchildren, Jenna St, Jacob St, Jeremy St, River Branch, Austin Branch and David; his great grandchildren, Ian St, Molly St and Gavin St; and his sisters, Emma Jean Markham, Sherry Byers (Gary) and Rosalita Rice.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar BIG Island Baptist Church Cemetery (1329 Sunset Hill Rd, Big Island, VA 24526).
