He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Routon (Stephanie), Jeremy Routon and Michael Paul Routon; his grandchildren, Kadin Routon, Colin Routon and Brinley Routon; his sisters, Connie Routon Purvis (Wayne) and Lisa Routon Hodges (Ronnie); his nephew Tommy Smith (Tina); his niece Kimberly Deal (Joe); and his pets, Lizzy and Caper.
