She is survived by: her son Teddy Scott Compton (Melissa) of Pounding Mill, VA; her close friend Bill Smith of Big Rock, VA; her sisters, Judy Looney (Joe) of Bristol, VA, Hazel Blackburn of Bristol, VA and Dorothy Steele of Summerset, KY.; her grandchildren, Colby Scott Compton and Sierra Bevins; and her stepgrandson Nick Keen. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
