He was predeceased by : his parents, James Franklin and Goldie Lee Hankins (McCoy); his daughter Whitney Hankins; his grandson Ryan Sean Lee Boyd; and his siblings, Junior Hankins and Rita Reynolds.
He is survived by : his daughter Misty Gail Boyd (Sean) of Oakwood, VA; his granddaughter Savannah Gail Boyd of Garden Creek, VA; his great grandchild Sophia Austin of Garden Creek, VA; his brother Robert Lee Hankins (Welthie "Babe") of Big Rock, VA; and his nephew James Robert Hankins.
