He is survived by: his daughters, Natasha Danyelle Sykes (Jordan) of Vansant, VA and Tiffany Lashae Rice (Daniel Stacy) of Homecreek, VA; his grandchildren, Noah Daniel Stacy, Jenna Madelyn Stacy, Jaydan Shay Sykes and Ally McClanahan; his siblings, Rebecca Owens (David) of Grundy, VA and Julius Rice Jr. (Trish) of Bluefield, VA; Frankie McClanahan (Tina) of Big Rock, VA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
