She was predeceased by : her parents, James Lester and Ocie Lester; and her son-in-law Richard Glenn Arvin. She is survived by : her brother Johnny Lester (Joan) of Big Rock, VA; her niece Ashley (Charlie); and her nephew Luke of Blacksburg, VA.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the New Zion Freewill Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park (32350 Riverside Dr, Big Rock, VA 24603).
