He was predeceased by: his wife Zella Daniels; and his siblings, Clarence Daniels, Mary Edith Mullins, Ersel Daniels, Ronnie Daniels, Lydia Ellen Daniels and Howard Daniels.

He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Daniels, Virginia Lamp and Malcolm Daniels; his children, Sherry Lynn Schory, Uley Scott Daniels, Jr. (Elaine) and Patricia Ann Smith (Stanley); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Bailey (Christina), MaKinna Traylor (John), Rebecca Zappardo (Anthony Joe), Allen Daniels, Alison Davis, Abigail Daniels, Jonathan Gonzalez and Heather Canterbury; and his great grandchildren, Logan Bailey, Daniel Bailey, Kate Bailey, Ian Bailey, Madelyn Lane, Evelyn Lane, McKenzie Traylor, Auner Zappardo, Allen Daniels, Jr., Brayden Canterbury and Grayson Canterbury.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Sullivan County Humane Society.
