She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Ferrell, Helen Linda Sue Owens (Tommy), Wayne Dotson (Pam), Donald Owens Shelton, Clyde Shelton and Jaylynn Shelton; and her siblings, Sue Sturgill (Donnie) and Patrick Taulbee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holding Funeral Home (17 E 3rd St N, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Holding Funeral Home (17 E 3rd St N, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
