Yeary Sr. and Florence Short Yeary of Coeburn, VA.

She is survived by: her daughter Gwendolyn; her son-in-law Christopher Brooks of Big Stone Gap, VA; her grandchildren, Joshua Daniel Brooks of Appalachia, VA, Chantel Ruth Brooks Collins (Damien Collins) of Gray, TN, Cierra Grace Brooks Edwards (Steven Edwards) of Richmond, VA and Celine Faith Brooks of Richmond, VA.; her great grandchildren, Miss Holly Hope Edwards, Young David Neil Edwards, Miss Alice Elizabeth Collins and Young Daniel McNeil Collins; and her brother David Yeary of Wise, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In 2022, she developed a severe case of Covid pneumonia, and never fully recovered.
