He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Woods and Elva Woods; and his siblings, Rex Woods, Scott Woods, Jerry Woods and Faye Phillips.

He is survived by : his children, Steven Woods (Beverly) of Castlewood, Virginia, Karen Cox (Michael) of Castlewood, Alexa Santangelo (Steve) and Vanessa Woods of Cape Coral, Florida; his great grandchildren, Evelynn and Easton Sanders; and his brothers, Cecil Woods (Kay) of Abingdon and Ray.
