She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Surface; and her parents, John Sheppard and Ruth Linkous Sheppard. She is survived by: her children, John Surface (Sherree), Angela Abdi (Ralph), Rebecca Clark (Mark) and Timothy Surface (Crystal); her grandchildren, Carrie, Lori, Sean, Arrin, Michelle, Carol, Mitchell, Sarah, Dylan, Zoe, Blake and James; her brother Jay Sheppard (Pat); and her friend Peggy Borman. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
