Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Dennis Cleon Basham, Daniel Gray Basham, Denise E. Basham Montgomery (Kurt Montgomery) and Diana Sue Basham; her siblings, Judy Beasley East, Edward Haven Beasley and Timothy Owen Beasley; her former husband Richard Cleon Basham; her parents, Edward Owen Beasley and Pearl Sutphin Beasley; and her brothers, Richard Robert Beasley and Gregory Preston Beasley.
