He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Martin and Jean Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Lewis (Robert) and Alisha Martin (Chris Olinger); his sister Linda Winters (Ed); his grandchildren, Emily Akers, Zachary Lewis, Mallory Akers, Curtis Lewis and Rylan Lester; and his close friends, Tony, Diane, Morgan, Jordan and Katie Fenton.

Instead of flowers, the family is asking for donations to either Riner Rescue Squad, or the Christiansburg Fire Department.
