Don Ray Waldron Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2026, Don Ray Waldron of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Tampa, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Don shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Don farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Claire Meyer Waldron; his daughters, Leigh Waldron, Rennie Waldron and Camille Street (Wes); his granddaughter Elle Meyer Street; and his siblings, Barbara Reker and Neal Edward Waldron (Joanne). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Virginia Tech Veterinary Teaching Hospital Compassionate Care Fund or Strauss Hospice House.
