She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Long and Ethel Long; her significant other Lacy William "Bill" Brown; her partner's son James William; and her significant other JB.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Devens (Pat); her grandchildren, Katy Devens Zamer (Craig), Kym Devens Gouker (Joel), Rick Devens (Becca) and Hannah Brown; Miriam Rich.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Northside Presbyterian Church (1017 Progress St NW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
