He was predeceased by: his son Michael Linkous. He is survived by: his wife Garnett Linkous; his daughter Pam Linkous-Polan (Greg); his granddaughters, Emily Polan-Harper (Andrew) and Sarah Polan; and his sister Betty Belle Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
