We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2025, at the age of 89, Harvey Henry Peterson of Blacksburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Harvey find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartvig Peterson and Effie Peterson; his sister Phyllis J. Cody; and his daughter Tiffany P. Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Peterson; his son Charles; and his daughter-in-law Sara. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Disabled American Veterans organization (DAV.org).
