Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Julio Jimenez; her parents, Fred Harley Armstrong and Gertrude Fries Armstrong; and her sister Mary B. Dietz. She is survived by: her daughters, Evelyn Machingo of Menlo, Georgia and Trisha Voshell of Floyd; her granddaughters, Tessie Albert of Blacksburg and Stephanie Voshell of Floyd; and her brother Fred Armstrong (Bettie) of Houston, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to the Blacksburg Library, 200 Miller Street SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060, which she visited regularly.
