He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Adkins Ramsey; his daughter Angela Michael Ramsey; his parents, Leon Kenneth and Edith Anora Ramsey; and his siblings, Freda Layne Ramsey Dean, Betty Ramsey Allen and Michael Leon Ramsey.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Ramsey of Blacksburg and Karen Williams (David); his grandson Kolton Williams of Shawsville; his sister Brenda Ramsey Spradlin (Jim) of Jacksonville, FL; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Dean of Dublin. He is also survived by nephews; and other extended family.
