We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 84, Nancy Maxey Reneau of Blacksburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Nancy Maxey's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Nancy Maxey has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nannie Maxey (Hubbard) and Tim Maxey; and her sister Martha Maxey Moles (Alvin K. Moles). She is survived by: her husband Raymond B. Reneau; her son Raymond Allen Reneau (Ann Marie Reneau) of Cape Charles, VA; her sister Patricia M. Bartlett (Robert Bartlett) of Annapolis, MD; her granddaughter Emma Rose Scaglione of Cape Charles, VA; and her nephew Robert Bartlett. She is also survived by one cousin, niece and nephews as well as her Kentucky family.
