Phyllis B. Rettig Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis B. Rettig of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Julian, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank H. Brown and Pauline Kivett Brown. She is survived by: her husband David Rettig; her children, Dustin and Eva McGuire (Zach); her grandsons, Miles and Isaiah; her brother Neil Brown (Patricia); her nephew Tate (Catherine); and her niece Amanda Schroder (Thomas). She is also survived by four great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church on Main memorial fund.
