He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Vere Stalcup and Lillian B. Stalcup; his wife Donna L. Stalcup; and his siblings, Claude, Gordon Stalcup of Fargo, Lorraine Kendall of Ellendale and Lois Muir of Fargo.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon L. Irvin (David) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Scott R. Stalcup (Nancy Volk-Stalcup) of Lynchburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Larissa Irvin (Gary Grinvalds) of Lincoln and Lowell Irvin of Topeka, Kansas; and his close friend Nancy Felch of Blacksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church (701 Church St SE, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
