He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Marcum and Carrie Mae Marcum; and his siblings, Margaret Dehart, Juanita Smith, Earl, Lenard and James Marcum (Johnny).

He is survived by: his sons, Monte and Casey; his daughters-in-law, Anna and LeAnna; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Helena and Cayleigh; his sister Hilma (Til); his nieces, Carrie and Martha; his brother Harry Marcum (Tanua); his close friend Benny Mason; and his wife Alice Faye Marcum.
