It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Jean Caldwell Davis (Blacksburg, Virginia), born in Radford, Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sandra leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sandra may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thornton William Caldwell and Senora Harmon Caldwell; her husband Patrick D. Cupp; and her sister Mildred Weddle. She was also cherished by two stepchildren, more than a dozen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Montgomery County.
