It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Linclous Thomas in Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Big Sandy, West Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roy L. Thomas; his former wife Betty Mannon Thomas; and his siblings, George Thomas and June Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Jane Campbell Thomas; his children, Lisa Ann Thomas, Steven Thomas (Donna), Michael Thomas, Shawn Lee Thomas (Sommer) and Jeff Thomas; his stepsons, Timothy, Craig and Sean Shaver; and his brother Harvey Thomas. He is also survived by 37 foster children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
