With sadness, we share the passing of William Boyd Grubb of Blacksburg, Virginia. William, born on October 3, 1951, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember William for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Havens Grubb; his brother Jerry Grubb; his brother-in-law Jerry Semones; and his father William Warren Grubb. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Grubb, Tucker LaForce (Jody) and Tommy LaForce; and his sisters, Wanda Semones and Frances August (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
