In the sacred silence of farewell, Alton is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alton's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Fillmore and Carrie Mills Hill; and his siblings, Margaret H. Martin, Richard and Bernard F. Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne B. Hill; and his brother Billy Hill (Violet) of Richmond. He is also survived by nephew and six nieces.
The family requests no flowers but donations made in memory of Alton to Jetersville Baptist Church, John Birch Society or to the Amelia Co. Emergency Squad.
