He is survived by: his wife Bettie Bradshaw Houseman; his daughters, Jennifer Houseman Beck (Tim) and Marcia Houseman Martin (Dan); his grandchildren, Danny Martin, Colby Martin, Carsten Beck and Ava Beck; his sister Susan Argentieri of Greenville; his niece Amy Willingham; and his caregivers, Mary Legrand and Tanya Clayton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to L.C. Sullivan Men's Bible Class at Crenshaw United Methodist Church.
