James Allen Baughan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025, James Allen Baughan of Blackstone, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Lewis Baughan; his son Richard Allen Baughan; his parents, Roger McKinley and Estelle Driggs Baughan; and his brother Maury "Pete" Baughan.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda B. Bryant of Blackstone, Ronald M. Baughan (Kay) of Crewe and Deborah B. Borum of Blackstone; his daughter-in-law Kaye Baughan of Dillwyn; his grandchildren, Lee Bryant, Deana Boyles, David Amburn (Tricia), Danielle Edwards (Jamie), Shannon Edwards (Kynan), Stacey Baughan, Dakota Baughan (Bethany), Ryan Borum (Katie), Fletcher Borum (Dana) and Tyler Borum (Caroline); and his sister Eva Baughan Clevinger. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; a great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blackstone Chapel of Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes (1826 Cox Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
