He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Hill; his children, Dante Hill (Jewel), James Hill Jr. (Latrice) and Pamela Stokes (James); his aunt Lillian Flood of Baltimore, Maryland; his mother-in-law Lacy Fowlkes of Crewe, Virginia; his siblings, Joyce Kirkland, Miriam Pittman, Hilda Frazier, Veronica Gaymon (Earl) and Ricky Hill; his siblings-in-law, Jewel Hill, Ruby Hill, Brenda Rather (Earl), Carolyn Stewart and Robert Fowlkes (Carolyn); and his cousins, Joyce Lyons and Melvin Lewis (Cloyd Tucker) of New York. He is also survived by ten grand children; 6 great grandchildren.
