He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Louise Pendry Whittington; his sister-in-law Joyce Leonard; and his daughter Jill. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wynkoop; his children, Lauren and Colin (Robyn); his grandchildren, Evangeline, Sawyer, Delia, Mary Lou, June and Althea; his brothers, DeWitt "Dee" (Janet) and Rankin (Sandy); and his brother-in-law Melvin "Buddy" Wynkoop (Connie). He is also survived by four nieces; two nephews; and a host of cousins.
