He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Westfall Burnette; his parents, Madeline Lawrence Burnette and George Washington Burnette; and his brothers, Junior and Robert Burnette.
He is survived by: his daughter Renee Burnette; his granddaughter Natasha Burnette of Chase City, VA.; his daughter Shannon Riley of Bluefield, WVA.; and his siblings, Shelby, Linda, Lucy, Anna Burnette, Jimmy, Johnny, Earl and Billy Burnette.
