He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Evans and Bernell Evans; and his siblings, Clifton Evans Jr. and Rayzelle Watson. He is survived by: his wife Clara Marie Evans; his daughters, Clanell "Babychild" Stith (Anthony), Jacqueline "Jackie" Branch (Larry), Gloria "Pooh" Evans and Kim "Bambi" Holmes (Jasper); his grandchildren, Ashley Stith, Antonio Evans (Shannon Perutelli), Erika Stith (Bryan Jimenez), Dimitri Evans, Kiara Anderson (Aliyah), Trey Branch, Jordan Holmes and Jayson Holmes; his great grandchildren, Payten Perry, Zion Amoah and Meeko Evans; his siblings, Freddie Evans (Esther), Ivornell Jones and Elsie Yates (James); his siblings-in-law, Mary Evans, Ethel Wright, Robert Watson and Amos Huff (Sheila); and his nephew Robert L. Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. E. Hawkes and Son Funeral Home (504 East St, Blackstone, VA 23824). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Cellar Creek Baptist Church (4344 Cellar Creek Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824).
