He is survived by: his son Timothy Johnson Mayer (Shannon); his grandchildren, Delaney Geiger (Julian) and Annie Lee Mayer; his sisters, Shirley J. Watts and Mary J. "Fannie" Spencer; his nieces, Susan Robertson and Mary Carol Spencer Bennett (Duane); and his nephew Michael Lee Spencer (Jayne).
