He was predeceased by: his former wife Sadie Robertson; his parents, Algie Robertson and Bertha Robertson; his son Eugene Robertson; and his siblings, Howard, George, John Robertson, Eleanor Ewing, Minnie and Winnie.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Robertson; his children, Michelle Crenshaw, Robbie Robertson, Edward "Bubba" Robertson, Terry Robertson and Daniel Farrar; and his sisters, Jean Williamson and Lucy. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
