He is survived by: his wife Margery Luann Simmons Dillingham; his son Brian Dillingham (Colleen) of Midlothian; his grandchildren, Emily and Will; and his siblings, Melinda Eppard (Ralph) and Bruce Dillingham.

The family would like to thank his hospice nurses, Crystal, Clara, Jasmine and Tina and ask that memorial donations be made to Capital Caring Health, 9020 Stony Point Parkway, Suite 170, Richmond, VA 23235, in Ben's memory.
