She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Wright Hurd and Everette "Chief" Hurd; her husband Charles McCoy, Sr.; her children, Teresa McCoy, Ramona McCoy (Bedenbender) and Charles McCoy, Jr.; her siblings, Lucille Hurd Pepper, Evelyn Hurd Stoneham, Ruth Burton, Elwood Hurd, Roy Hurd and Doyle "D. J." Hurd; her siblings' children, Dewell Hurd Herrill, Diane Pepper Wilson, Gary and Brett Hurd; her siblings-in-law, Adrion Kinsler, Tom Burton, Mozell Seal Hurd and Rosie Hurd; and her great-nephew Christopher Hurd.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammie McCoy; her grandchildren, Charles "Chad" McCoy IV, Alyssa McCoy, Craig Bedenbender (Amanda), Heather Huddleston Reynolds (Faron) and Jery Huddleston (Camii); her great grandchildren, Grace Bedenbender Windham (Orion), Alana Orr, Jery "Trace" Huddleston, III, Griffin Reynolds, Luke Huddleston and Emmett Reynolds; and her sister Naomi Seals (Emory).
