As Christopher departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Christopher may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Christopher leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Vickie Lynn Smith; and his parents, James "Smitty" Smith and Virginia "Kay" Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Cindy Smith of Denver and Jeff Smith of Cathedral City, California.; his children, Janel Nichole (John) of Providence and Samuel Jordan of Callands; and his grandson Christopher Jordan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church.
As a long-time member of Christ Episcopal Church, the family suggests a donation to the church in lieu of flowers.
