We bid farewell to Deborah Lynn Fitz of Blairs, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 16, 2025 at the age of 56. Deborah touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy W. Fitz and Elma Akers Fitz; and her siblings, Sophia Fitz, Emma Fitz, Timothy Fitz and Tommy Akers.
She is survived by: her son Chakotay X. Salmon of Blairs, VA; her siblings, Bobbie Spraggins (Ronald) of Blairs, VA, Susie Akers of Blairs, VA, Sharon Curtis (Mark) of San Diego, CA, Annett Blondin (John) of San Diego, CA and Joe Fitz of Blairs, VA; and her aunts, Frances Stamps of Blairs, VA and Mammie Fitts of Bowie, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church (477 Fairview Rd, Chatham, VA 24531).
