It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorine Monk in Blairs, Virginia, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallace DeLong and Myrtle Clifton DeLong; her husband Lewis Monk Sr.; her daughter Dana Davis; her stepsons, John Monk and Doug Monk; her great grandchild Wyatt Monk; and her siblings, Pershing DeLong, Wallace DeLong, Maurice DeLong, Warren DeLong, Wendell DeLong, Cecil DeLong, Walsie DeLong Wheeler, Lola Ann DeLong and Allegra DeLong.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Monk Sr. (Danna) of Blairs and Mauriah Smith (Jerry) of Providence, N. C.; her grandchildren, Scott Davis (Susan), Brad Davis (Sarah), Chip Monk (Amanda), Josh Monk (Justine), Jacob Monk, Hilary Bourne (Chris), LoriLee Davis, Will Smith (Cara) and Molly Smith; and her great grandchildren, Lee Dooley, Vincent Davis, Jace Monk, Ridge Monk, Kayden Davis and Salem Smith.
