She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Compton and Sarah Dunaway Compton; her siblings, Jean Hicks (Joe), Cora Campbell (William), Pauline Reed (Jerry), Riley (Jeane), Jack (Jean) and John (Bonnie); and her siblings-in-law, Jennings Young, Thomas Young, Phyllis Young Alger, Millie Young of Stanley, VA and Karen Hubbard Compton.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Young; her siblings, Delma Miller (Ralph), James (Karen), David (Donna) and Simon (Susan); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Compton of Hampton, GA, Bonnie Little (Harvey) of Pelham, NC, Edna Young of Stanley, VA and Dot Young (Dorothy) of Shenandoah, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
