He is survived by: his mother Connie Sue Cheney (Bennett) of Washington, Iowa; his brothers, Troy Cheney of Brighton and Shawn Cheney (Teri) of Sigourney, Iowa; his nieces and nephews, Terry Wells (Sable), Trista Cheney, Scott Cheney, Chad Cheney and Taylor Cheney; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mavis, Sadie Wells and Sayler Cheney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A general memorial has been established.
