It is with sadness that the passing of Fay L. Knicley of Blue Ridge, Virginia is shared. Fay, born on April 8, 1939, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Fay will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Fay is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Fay’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Francisco and Agnes Virginia Ashby Lyle; and her husband Jerry Lynn Knicley. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Roger D. Knicley (Angie) and Fay Shifflett (Kenneth). She is also survived by several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
