It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julian Powell of Blue Ridge, Virginia, born in Sullivan, Indiana, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patricia Jones and Richard Powell. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Sherri Powell of Blue Ridge, Richard Powell (Jill) of Charlotte and Bradley Powell of Daleville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Morgan Wampler Bailey (Kyle), Zachary Powell and Ethan Powell; his great grandchild Landry Lee; and his sister Judy Byars of Will Point, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
