She was predeceased by : her parents, Calvin Chenault and Myrtle Chenault; her husband Melvin Scott; her daughter Dana Scott; and her son-in-law Dale Poff.

She is survived by : her daughter Dawn Scott Poff; her grandchildren, Kaila Spangler (Jordan) and Kourtney Poff; and her great grandchild Brody Spangler.
